As a leading indicator of risk management
performance, it is critically important that organizations undergo an
external review every three years. Through a structured review
of your organization’s policies and procedures, interviews with staff
and a review of your in-the-field practices, Merrill &
Associates will provide detailed, sustainable and practical
suggestions to improve your risk management systems.
Working collaboratively to define the scope of
the review, the first stage of the review will include a self
assessment process. Once complete, a comprehensive documentation
review examining your handbooks, participant agreements and policies
and procedures will ensue. The third stage of the review will
include a 1-2 day on-site visit to interview key program staff and
observe facilities and programs in operation. Within two weeks of the
on-site review, Merrill & Associates will develop a
detailed report including areas of strength as well as prioritized,
practical recommendations for improvement. If desired,
Merrill & Associates can present an executive summary to a
safety committee, senior management staff or a Board of Directors.
